Our Mission

No one should feel invisible, forgotten, or unworthy of care.

We serve the underprivileged, homeless, and overlooked with love, honesty, dignity, and compassion.

By meeting people where they are, we provide food, clothing, clean socks, hygiene products, toothbrushes, toilet paper and other everyday necessities. Every act of service is a chance to restore dignity, hope and comfort, and to remind someone that somebody cares.

We are committed to seeing the forgotten, serving the underserved, and helping people believe that tomorrow can be better than today.

Love

We love people where they are, not where we think they should be.

Dignity

Circumstances never decide someone's worth. Everyone is served with respect.

Compassion

No judgment and no discrimination. We give without expecting anything in return.

Integrity

Honest, transparent work, so every gift goes where it's meant to go.

What we give

Small gestures. Meaningful differences.

A meal, a clean pair of socks, a toothbrush, or a genuine conversation. Even the smallest gesture can remind someone they matter.

Warm meals

Food served with a smile and time to talk.

Clean socks

The most requested item on the street.

Clothing

Seasonal clothes, coats and layers.

Toothbrushes

Toothbrushes and toothpaste for daily care.

Hygiene kits

Soap, deodorant, wipes and essentials.

Toilet paper

Basic necessities most of us never think about.

Everyday needs

The things that make a day a little easier.

Conversation

Stopping long enough to listen to someone's story.

Our Story

Karter

A child's smile became an inspiration. That inspiration became a purpose. And now that purpose is love in action.

On December 31, 2025, our family received a gift we could never fully put into words. His name is Karter.

From the moment he entered the world, there was something about him that brought people joy. Maybe it was those big brown eyes, that wide, unforgettable smile, or the innocence and love that seemed to pour out of him without him ever saying a word. Looking into Karter's eyes makes you think about what really matters: love, compassion, kindness, humanity.

His presence gave our family a feeling so pure that we began asking a simple question: What if we could make other people feel some of the love that Karter makes us feel?

  • What if someone who feels forgotten could feel seen?
  • What if someone who is hungry could know that somebody cares whether they eat?
  • What if someone experiencing homelessness could receive clean clothes, fresh socks and a warm meal, and be treated with dignity?
  • What if a simple act of kindness could give someone a reason to smile again?

That is where Karter's Love was born. We wanted to take the joy this little boy brought into our family and give it away, not just through donations but through genuine human connection. Whether we're handing someone a meal, a toothbrush or clean socks, or simply stopping to listen to their story, we want them to feel one thing:

You matter. You are seen. And you are loved.

Karter is too young to understand the movement being created in his name, and that's part of what makes his story special. He didn't have to give a speech or understand the problems of the world to inspire us. He simply loved us, and his love made us want to love people better.

That is Karter's Love.

Because everyone deserves to be seen.

About Us

Meet our founder

Karter's Love INC. was founded by Aurelia with one belief at its heart: everyone deserves to be seen.

Inspired by Karter, Aurelia and her family set out to take the love he brought into their home and give it to the people their city too often overlooks. What started as a family's question, what if?, has become a mission to serve Indianapolis neighbors with honesty, dignity and compassion.

Aurelia leads Karter's Love with a simple rule: helping people is not simply charity. It is humanity. Every meal, every pair of socks and every conversation is offered without judgment and without expecting anything in return.
